Good Day Find below the lesson plans for the first 2 weeks. Sept 18-22 Week 1 -students discuss goals & class expectations (during our Physical Education Lessons) -spatial awareness -look and listen and react. Listen to music, react quickly to instructions. Quiet moving, look with eyes and listen with ears. Various ways to move levels/directions/ Speed etc. Music/Flash cards/Colored cones Sept 25-29 Week 2 Team building Group work- What is teamwork? (How, when, where and why do we use team-work?) Level (ground) for the yr. 1-4 students - ACTIVITIES TO FOLLOW - Arrange yourself accordingly... *Tall to small *Shoe size *Length of hair *Back 2 back- stand up together. *Relay games. Discussions- follow various instructions and directions, (year 2 – 11) Gallery walk- quotes – discuss and reflect. (Which poster made an impact on me?) Who am I? Citizen/Team player. Answer questions… October 2-6 Week 3 Year 7 - 11 Fitness Tests. The students will first evaluate themselves. (Rate their own fitness on a scale from 1 to 10)Bleep Test/ Flexibility/ Muscle Endurance/ Muscle Strength/Balance/ Year 5 and 6 Rotation fitness stations. (sit-ups/ star-jumps/lunges/wall-push-ups/ running lines 7 m) Year 3 and 4 4 colored cone activity (reaction/direction/movement/endurance/cardio) Year 1 and 2 find the correct colored cones (music/use of space/variation of movement/expression of movement) KG 1 and 2 Stop, Look, Listen (move with music and complete the instruction) Good Day I am from South-Africa. My expectations for my students are to be excited about Physical Education and Sport. For each to have an appreciation of play, understand the needs for a healthy body, and to have fun. If a child likes to play they will play for a lifetime. All students will have some paper and pencil assignments, and Middle and High school students will have written reflections, assignments, and assessments every term. Students Responsibilities:
